Plato

I am fascinated by Plato’s theory of forms. It goes like this. There is a dark cave and people in it and light is emanating from the outside. The people are groping for the light. What Plato meant was there is an ideal world of forms beside the visible world.

Plato as an Idiom stands for someone who is idealistic.

Gandhi is a Plato as he stood for Ahimsa and Nonviolence and used that as tool for liberating India from the yoke of British rule.

Nelson Mandela is a Plato who fought the apartheid with nonviolence and pacificism.

Death

Today my friend’s father died. And today is the day of his cremation. When I went to the house, it is said that the body is taken to the church. So, I went to the church and as soon as he saw me, he called to me: Anand,  and I gave him a big hug. I feel so happy that I was able to comfort him.

Epiphany About Rain

Rain is pouring profusely rendering a cacophony of music. The rain is the laughter of water. The rain is a poetic song. The rain brings sweet wishes to fruition. The rain is the beauty of the clouds to echo the rhythms of falling water. Rain is the Phallus of Zeus making the earth’s Aphrodite’s vagina wet.
