A recap of last night's Boston/Toronto game.

The Toronto Blue Jays lost their final home game in Buffalo, New York last night 7-4 to the Boston Red Sox.

The Jay's next home game on July 30 is in Toronto against the Kansas City Royals.

Kiki Hernandez, Rafael Devers, Michael Chavis, J.D. Martinez, and Hunter Renfroe all hit home runs for Boston.

Martinez went two for four at the plate last night.

Boston's Christian Vazquez hit a RBI single.

The Jays did battle back and made it a 5-4 game in the bottom of the sixth inning.

Unfortunately, Martinez and Renfroe added to Boston's lead with home runs at the top of the eighth inning.

Red Sox's starting pitcher, Garrett Richard struck out five batters last night.

Vladimir Guerrero Jr., George Springer, and Teoscar Hernandez hit home runs for the Jays.

Springer had two RBIs last night.

Jay's starting pitcher, Robbie Ray, was mediocre on the mound last night.

"He, (Ray), wasn't as sharp as he usually is'" said Jay's manager, Charlie Montoyo at the postgame press conference.

The Jays have a day off before heading to New York tomorrow for a three game series against the Mets.
