I’m Not My Hair
Blond, brunette, red head, maybe dark brown
Hair’s just a noun
I’d cut it down
It’s much work to where the crown
Perhaps colored, textured, spiked, or layered
Samson I’m not, I’ve never cared
Those closest are very much the crutch
Want to be better now?
Don’t wait for later, be a creator
Look into the mirror, and wake up some how
So when there is no more there there, and you realize it’s just hair, au contraire, I’m not my hair
