A recap of last night's Cleveland/Toronto Game Three.

George Springer has big night at the plate.

Toronto Blue Jay's George Springer had a big night at the plate as his team defeated the Cleveland Indians 8-6.

Springer went four for five at the plate and had three RBIs.

Springer led off the bottom of the first inning with a solo home run.

Toronto scored three more runs in the bottom of the first to go ahead 4-0.

Springer also had a two run double in the bottom of third inning.

Reese McGuire had a RBI double in the bottom of the third.

Jay's starting pitcher, Steven Matz, had a solid outing on the mound last night.

Matz pitched six scoreless innings and struck out eight batters.

Cleveland, however, rallied back in the late innings.

Cleveland scored four runs at the top of the eighth inning to close the gap to 8-4.

At the top of the ninth inning, Jose Ramirez and Oscar Mercado hit solo home runs.

Mercado went four for five at the plate.

Cleveland's Owen Miller had three RBIs.

Indian's starting pitcher, J.C. Mejia lasted just 2.1 innings, allowing seven hits, and eight earned runs.

Mejia now has a record of 1-7 and a 9.24 earned run average.

The series finale is tonight.
