Bo Bichette hits his 20th home run.
Bo Bichette hit his 20th home run of the season in the bottom of the fourth inning last night as his Toronto Blue Jays blanked the Cleveland Indians 3-0.
The Jays won the series three games to one.
Bichette also hit a two run single in the bottom of the sixth inning.
Bichette went two for three and had three RBIs.
Jay's starting pitcher, Ross Stripling had a solid outing last night.
Stripling pitched six innings, allowed just three hits, no earned runs, a walk, and struck out six batters.
Stripling has a record of 5-6 and an earned run average, (ERA.), of 4.43.
Toronto is now eight games above .500.
Indian's starting pitcher, Triston McKenzie pitched seven innings, allowing five hits.
McKenzie now has a record of 1-5 and an ERA. of 5.89.
There was a scary moment for the Blue Jays in the bottom of the eighth inning.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr was hit on the hand by a wild pitch.
Thankfully, Guerrero Jr. is okay.
The Jays begin a three game home series with the Boston Red Sox at the Rogers Centre in Toronto tonight.
