Can I ever fix my broken heart?

My world has completely fallen apart.

I wonder if I can have hope in a new day,

But reminding me all my love has faded away.

One, Two, four, six and ten,

Repeating the numbers over again

Twelve, fifteen, nineteen and twenty-two,

How many times have I thought peoples love was true?

Twenty-five, twenty-nine, thirty and thirty-five,

How many times have people lied?

Fifty, sixty, seventy or even more times I presume,

Maybe a number you cannot even count or assume.

My hearts been hurt so much,

Broken into pieces that you cannot even touch.

But it surprises how some people have broken my heart,

But still, I love them with all those parts.

Promises are sweet lies,

People tend to walk by.

Words cut deeper than a knife,

Be careful of how you affect life.

I wish you told me from the start,

About how people will break my heart.

What more can I say?

When all my love has faded away.

A broken heart,

Was once loved at the start.

A life thats been loved,

Is a life thats been lived...
