Chirp-chirp goes the sound of the birds,
How soothing my first breathe tends to be,
Every step centers me as making my morning tea,
Cool feeling of the wood floor on my bare feet,
Turning my kettle on medium high,
Nolo meows as I gather my herbs,
Fresh star anise, a little bay leaves,
Soothing chamomile,
Couple pieces of clover, and a bark of cinnamon,
My french press awaits as the water finishes it's boil as I warm my toast,
The kettle rings loud while I turn of the stove,
Piping hot water steaps into tea,
I just watch the beautiful colors flow up,
In wonder of which mug is fit for today,
I poor slowly,
Enjoying the sound of it in my cup,
How delightful today's blend smells,
Powerful steams warm my face as I blow,
Ohh that first sip,
How soothing and comforting you are,
Perfect way to start such a marvelous day.
