The final part of a series of poems about the summer holidays.

The Joys of summer

Part 8 (the final part)

The final poems about the summer holidays. The end of the fun is near.

The scent of salty
waves can bring joy to all those
who know stuffiness.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner,
an endless line of goodies
for the true cruiser.

Binging on movies
while munching on crunchy snacks,
heaven for slackers.

The setting sun sinks
into the waves, a sight missed
once back home again.

Staring in the dark
in those final hours before
getting up for work.

Thanks Mike. All things have to come to an end. I am already working on an autumn collection.
