My friend Ted and I went to a haunted house for fun on Halloween. We saw many people in costumes try to scare us.
They weren’t allowed to touch anyone however and if it got too intense there was a safe word “swordfish” me and Ted didn’t dare say it because we considered ourselves to be really brave. We were 12 and 13.
Anyhow we were in the basement of the house. A couple people were trying to scare us. But what really stood out was there was a crawl space in the corner of the basement. The room was glowing red and we heard a voice say “come hear kids” we wanted to go inside to get the full experience but for some reason something told us not to.
As we walked by the crawl space we heard the voice again it said “come hear kids” this time it sounded angry. I wanted to peak my head in but I didn’t. We started to walk away when we saw a man emerge from the crawl space with a knife. He stared at us for several seconds before turning around as another group came down the basement.
We exited the house and told one of the workers outside “we really liked your Crawlspace room the guy with the knife was perfect.” “What crawspace? What guy with a knife?” The worker asked looking really scared. “You mean that wasn’t apart of the haunted house? I asked. The worker looked terrified and called the boss. The police came to investigate.
No one was in the crawlspace at the time but the police said they did see some really weird things in there pentagram with candles and a knife was in the center of the room. Somebody was definitely down there but there gone now.
