A recap of last night's Toronto/New York Yankees Game Two of four.

Alejandro Kirk had a three hit night.

Alejandro Kirk hit two home runs and scored on a sacrifice fly as his Toronto Blue Jays defeated the New York Yankees last night 5-1.

Kirk went three for four at the plate and had two RBIs.

Toronto's Teoscar Hernandez also scored on a sacrifice fly.

Marcus Semien hit his 38th home run of the season at the top of fifth inning.

Jay's starting pitcher, Steven Matz pitched six innings, allowed an earned run, and struck out six batters.

"Anytime we do well at Yankee Stadium is pretty cool," said Jay's manager, Charlie Montoyo at the postgame press conference.

As for the Yankees, everything is going wrong right now.

Both D.J. LeMahieu and Aaron Judge went 0 for 4 at the plate last night.

Then, to make matters worse, starting pitcher, Gerrit Cole was pulled after 3.2 innings because of tightness in his left hamstring.

Cole allowed five hits and two earned runs.

Jay's rookie pitcher, Alek Monoah, takes to the mound tonight.
