My feelings after another long, dry drought and fire filled summer.

arid spaces met

dry as desert bone

parched patterns

beneath beyond

cracked and barren

clouds never linger

fading into dreams

misty wishes

disappearing

darken sky arrival

wanted storm to come

thunder give roar

 welcome change

hope to drench

begun as rain

a single drop

is joy.

It's good! Although I didn't experience summer, but I can feel it by reading your poem :)

I know some regions never have the type of season I wrote of. Thank you for your kind comment.

Wow, great poem Berry. We are having too much rain sometimes, in our country these days.

Yes, that's understood. Sometimes I wish we here in California could have some of the rain others get too much of. Thank you for your kind comment DiyaSL.
