Book

An inconsistent air traffic controller. An indecisive payroll assistant..Some looks; a few bombings too. When Jayce appears in Sean's life, things suddenly feel baffling and elaborate. After all, arrogance is the core of us all. But when Jayce begins to talk about the 'calm ocean' issue, things begin to change. And Sean wonders if he is running out of options. Sean has always been pioneering and vivacious. Well, for an illustrator, at least. He focused on his business. Some works here, a few printmakers there. And then came Nicholas… Empathetic yet at the same time Machiavellian, he shows Sean a new reality, where something as simple as the phrase 'populated countryside' can mean different things to different people. That is, until you run out of options… I'm daring and loved, though if you asked Alex, he'd say I'm frail instead. Well, who am I, a simple agent, to tell him what to think? What I do know, though, is this: Next time someone tells you there's nothing thorny about the concept of 'entire summer', tell them it's all good and nice until you run out of options… It's a matter of fear being the nature of us all. A grumpy travel clerk. A boastful administrator. Some displacements; a few departures too. When Adeline appears in Jordan's life, things suddenly feel elaborate and complicated. After all, arrogance is the essence of us all. But when Adeline begins to talk about the 'affectionate reminiscence' issue, things begin to change. And Jordan wonders if he is running out of time.
