On the Death of Dr. Steve Reynolds, PhD.

In 2020 a most prestigious, highly acclaimed and superlatively eminent scholar by the name of Steve Reynolds passed away to the sadness of many, having been killed by the deathly plague known to the world as COVID-19 at the ripe age of 104 in the midst of fighting lung, brain, pancreatic and testicular cancers in addition to heart disease and cerebral palsy. The Cambridge professor of astrological science Dr. Reynolds had a claim to fame as a greatly celebrated academic working within the fields of astrological science and alchemy, having achieved a wondrous breakthrough with his seminal 3046-page magnum opus, The Constituency Of The Soul And Of The Stars And Of Their Definitive And Demonstrably Observable Interaction And Relationship With Each Other, Wherein Is Definitively Proved The Accuracy And Efficacy Of Truly Scholarly, Academic And Peer-Reviewed Astrological Science; With The Doctrine And Practice Of Horoscopes Being Analysed, Examined And Upheld As Credible (When Rightly And Scientifically Performed) Being A Particular Focus, published in 1999.

Never before had astrological science received such conclusive treatment by a scholar of such eminence as Dr. Reynolds was. Furthermore, the work was thoroughly backed by leagues of scholarly peers who gave credence to his ideas by the addition of their voices to the choir of agreement: as it is a scholarly and veritable truth that the truth is, and only is, verified by receiving the witness of scholars and their peer-reviewed journal articles.

When Dr. Steve Reynolds, PhD, unveiled his masterpiece to the world, the entire academic sphere uprose in a canticle of cheer; true, there were a number of dissenting voices, but not so many as would render his work untrue. Untold scores of academic researchers poured into the English city of Cambridge (pronounced Cam-bridge) to bear witness to the truth; to bring themselves to their knees before Reynolds, suck the big candle of his learning, and swallow his life-giving fruit of knowledge. Astrological science, and horoscopes in particular, would never again receive the scorn they hitherto did by the superstitious, naïve, and gullible.
