Yet one more for Halloween.

A giant, standing tall for all to see
Mindless, yet controlling so many

Larger than Finn McCool, its appetite
Even Benandonner wouldn't attempt to fight

A small price, to those who believed
Blinded by its power, greatly deceived

Drinking the life from all its lakes
Siphoning nectar from near-by states

Options removed, while forced to comply
To manage without, too impossible to try

Drained of their energies, machines halt
Dead as night, the day brings in fault

Being trapped, unable to escape
For false security, a costly price paid
