Just a regular poem.

Blasted and fatal.

Inescapable and recurring.

My presence is in all: yet unable,

To sit still; only slake sums sable, but sorry;

For bring peace it does not,

Yield the forsaken, foul, fanatic fell foes of Mankind instead;

Leaving the collective whole wondering, blundering and with blood-curdling;

The works of ye mighty we looked upon, monstrous and manic, tearing us asunder.

Curse Neiztche! For God was dead.

Curse Schopenhauer! For we all suffer.

Curse the Devil! Denying us our dear eternal.

Curse Myself! All of the above.

Create religion, philosophy, science;

All for the feeble formulation of an understanding;

A deaf woman playing the piano,

A blind man conducting.

The stumbling and tripping apes.

Grasping and conceiving,

To and of the stars, reaching for God’s blessed hand.

And Everything comes smashing and crashing and tumbling down as they- as we- as I fail.

But try it again.

And again.

Even though you can see it’s plain wrong.

Everyone’s Insane.

At the End of Days,

All will be clear,

How everyone’s wicked ways will be made to mend,

Wiped clean of any will or smear.

And then It’ll be alright.

Right? Yeah…

Right...

Great poem :) Can relate sometimes; I feel the same! The words were so touching and the metaphors were really wonderful. I agree with the last stanza :)
~Nice job =)

Mucho gracias(the only spanish I know). I was trying to convey my thoughts a little, and I'm glad someone can at least partially relate. This was meant to be a lousy follow up to my other poem 'Mankind', but they do make sense individually.
Thanks for reading and reviewing!
