This one is a bit extreme, but that is how things are now... At least in the states.

Too many are willing to give all for nothing. Well, not all and for nothing, but give more than they should for little in return. Some say the price is worth it. Some don't see how many have to pay, and still end up not much more better off. Changing to be better and better, until critical measurment, which raises the price, just to maintain a standard.

If you could change anything
Would it make a difference?
Would it be noticeably seen?
Would it cause indifference?

Its been years since seeing
Wondering what has changed
Perhaps it's an uneasy feeling?
Does it need to be rearranged?

If made perfect, like you want
Would it be all for not?
What was treasured, now measured
Anything less, wouldn't pleasure

Still wanting to make a change
For what will be the price?
Once accepted, now estranged
Tomorrow's change, rolled dice
