A recap of last night's Toronto/Carolina game.

Carolina Hurricane's goalie, Frederik Andersen was on the winning end against his former team last night,

Andersen stopped 24 shots in a 4-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs.

"It was a difficult game," said Leaf's head coach, Sheldon Keefe at the postgame press conference.

The Leafs have now lost four straight.

Things started out promising for Toronto when Auston Matthews opened the scoring at 3:25 of the first period.

It was Matthew's 200th career goal.

Sebastian Aho tied the game at 7:02 of the second period.

It was all Carolina from there on.

Steven Lorentz and Nino Nederreiter also scored in the second.

Andrei Svechnikov added an empty netter at 19:00 of the third period.

Svechnikov and Jaccob Slavin both had two points last night.

Leaf's goalie, Jack Campbell stopped 32 shots .

Carolina is now 5-0-0 this season.

Toronto plays the Blackhawks in Chicago tomorrow night.
