Does it take flesh and blood

To convince myself I’m human

Or does it take a victim

To see into my insanity

Left out to die

Without a reason

All I’ve been told is

I’ve committed treason

What does it take for me to prove

What it is you want me to do

You made me human to crumble

And grow up more humble

I wasn’t ready to lose my blood

Even though I had given up

Coincidence doesn’t sit well

Since my empire had fell

But my heart remained

On my sleeve and blood stained

I knew you could find me

I know we can forge a key

To get into the kingdom

And help more than you and me

What does it take for me to prove

What it is you want me to do

You made me human to crumble

And grow up more humble

I wasn’t ready to lose my blood

Even though I had given up

I’ll listen to signs

Even Those divine

If means one day

I can help our stars align
