It was a cold October night. I had just arrived back at our hotel. Me and my two best friends had spent the day visiting time square and exploring New York along with  the Empire State Building.
It was late around 10 pm. We were staying at the Royalton hotel. My friends wanted to go see “a Bronx tale” playing on Broadway. I wasn’t the type of person to want to see a play so they left without me. I was fine exploring new york. I walked up and down the street walking between people when I noticed two men in uniforms. I approached them as they told me they were in the untied states army.
I offered to buy them some dinner down in time square and to talk too because I’m sure they had some stories. We went to “carmine’s Italian restraunt” we got a few drinks and had some Italian food. It was around 12 when we finished up. I was sure my friends would be home bye now.
The two soldiers thanked me for a wonderful evening and the one man stopped and shook my hand. He looked me in the eye and said “I always wanted to visit time square. This was a dream come true. However I wished this would have happened to me when I was alive.” I suddenly got the chills and asked “what do you mean?” The man said to me “we were in Iraq a few years back when we drove over a grenade on the road the both of us were killed instantly.” we were buried in New York.
Because it’s where my parents were buried. I never got the chance to visit New york. Today was a dream come true for me.” *I blinked several times and the two men were gone.* *was I going crazy? Did I spend the night  alone? Or did I really spend the night with two ghosts? Either way I did not feel threatened by the men. If they were spirits then I’m glad I was able to make there dream come true of visiting time square and having a good meal before they returned to there grave.
