All over again--still

I'm sensing the democrats are pulling defeat from the jaws of a certain victory. I know the party of the president usually lose seats in the elections a year or two after his election, but come on, we're letting the Republicans run the show. Some Americans are pretending everything was great and see nothing wrong with his juvenile moronics, and almost all Republicans are still kissing his traitorous ass and embracing the big lie that he actually won the election and is still president. Why are we letting the minority dictate to us. And the same minority pretend it wasn't THAT bad, or worse yet, and more troubling, embracing the big lie. I'll tell you why, two DINO'S (democrats in name only) are holding President Biden' Build Back Better bill hostage until it becomes so watered down as to make its passage worthless, or have little impact on us. Those who stand to benefit the most from it, and who stand to lose money from its passage are corporations and the wealthy. When Biden was elected, I breathed a huge sigh of relief that a normal human being was once again president, but I'm disheartened that the pendulum is swinging towards crazy once again and next time, I fear it will never swing towards reasonable non-crazy again.

It's 2008 all over again. In the last twelve-plus years the Republicans have done nothing to help everyday Americans for eight-plus of those years and openly sabotaging President Obama to the detriment of the American people. They've spent four years doing whatever Trump wanted, and are still under his diseased spell. The problem is the democrats have both the progressive wing of the party and the moderate wing. The Republicans no longer have a moderate wing to help restrain the out-there wing. Out-there is the ONLY wing left squealing, and squealing is all they're capable of.
