As of recent, I had dealt with my cat, in feeding. He had developed a liver, gallbladder, dehydration, flu, and pancreatitus condition all pretty much at once. He is done with it now, but for the last 2 weeks it was a slow recovery.

During that time frame, feeding was impossible. He was not going to eat what was best for his condition. Because shelves have been a mixed sort, with supply chain disruption... his favorite foods were limited. One thing I did find was, a particular flavour was also packaged in a mixed variety, in a value pack. For the life of me he would not eat what was his favorite flavor. All I had left from the cupboards was two older cans from the store shelves. Looking them over, they had same labeling and all, identical to the can its self. I knew he had eaten one can before I got the value pack, so I opened one of the remaining cans. Low and behold he gobbled it up. The next day, I played a trick to see if he knew the difference or was playing games. I popped open the value pack can and he walked away after a sniff. I thought he was not so hungery. Anyway just to make sure, i popped open the off the shelf can, and he practically grabbed it out of my hand.

So here is my poem play on US voting for a package deal. Only if my cat could sniff out what Pelosi is packaging up. If he eats it, its good! Ha!

Canned food all processed identically
A packaged variety or shelved separately

Same label of same brand name
A slight of hand in this game

A value packaged can, unpalatable
The shelf singles can, unfallable

Mixed 50/50 caused disagreeing
Unable to fool a cat for its feeding

No sense in packaged value variety
Being, my cat will strongly disagree
