I wish I had answers
To the mysteries I’ve seen
But it’s the prayers
That make me feel like me

Once we had two heads
But it’s part of the game
We sleep in two beds
But wake up the same

Can you please help me sleep?

My thoughts are weary
My eyes turn teary
I think about you at night
When it’s time to fight
These demons that chase us
In our unconscious

Are you haunting me
Or will you let me be?

I try to explain myself
But they don’t get it
I wish I could fix this
But I feel so hopeless

Can we help each other
I want the comfort of a mother

My thoughts are weary
My eyes turn teary
I think about you at night
When it’s time to fight
These demons that chase us
In our unconscious

We are the same
And I too feel that pain
