You never know who has walked before or who walks behind you

So the rough road that's walked is now gone
only forest an fields you see on and on

No path that's clear
no trails found here
beautiful sights all around
pause to hear the sound

Noise so soft, walk on solid ground

Relaxing it is
relax the sound says
clear the air
take a breath
there is no despair

Walk left
walk right
walk into, the good night
Not for anger
not for hate
not because your too late

Walk into the dark, for goodness sake

Not alone
not forgotten
the roads that were trodden
Into the woods
up the hill
Across the pasture, even still

The peace will come
lay down the payload
Change for some

Walk off
the rough road
