just another school essay

What would you do if you had pools in front of you that lead to different worlds, and you still knew how to get back, but the curiosity was killing you, so you wanted to jump in each to see where they led? In The Magician’s Nephew, Digory and Polly had to make this same decision. Digory and Polly should not have jumped in the other pools for these three reasons. It was hazardous. They were not sure what each of the rings did. There were many pools in the forest.

The first reason Digory and Polly should not have jumped in the other pools is it was hazardous. They were unsure where the pools would take them. Even though Digory and Polly tested to see if they could get back, they still had a high chance of getting stuck in this forest. They could have learned more about the pools before jumping in.

The second reason Digory and Polly should not have jumped in the \other pools is they were not sure what the rings did. They initially thought they knew what the rings did, but then they found out they were mistaken. They had no evidence to back what they thought the rings would do, and ultimately, they could lose the rings.

The third reason Digory and Polly should not have jumped in the other pools is there were many pools in the forest. Even though they set a checkpoint to their world, there are still many worlds they could get lost in forever. They did not know how many pools were in the forest or where the pools could potentially take them.
