DON'T MIND THE TITLE ¨-¨ (Cringe)

It's a poem I will be using somewhere within my novel Re:Vision, probably around chapter 5-9, only 2 chapters out thus far.
But I thought I may aswell post it as a standalone, cause it can take anywhere between 1-2 weeks to write it, or years or who knows, I may not even write it, cause I'm disappointed in my own writing (as I am unable to draw the imagery I see as I tell the story, and wording it in a way to make up for it is practically impossible.[Pathetic aye, but well oh well])
Enjoy ^_^

You may not think you have much to offer
And you need a lot of rest
But with just one smile
I know you have something
in your chest

The gratitude you give me
for playing the hero and the fool
The warmth of your voice
The way that you see me
as a man and not a tool.

I know for now we cannot be
But I hope that with our seed
And with some time
And with some love
it will grow into a tree.

I cannot tell you yet
I cannot hold you close
But you give me plenty
By being just you
So, some day, I suppose.

Your eyes are so kind
You give me what I need
Even if I do all the acts
Through your gratitude and warmth
I too, may be freed.

Even if this will not last
Life has by you been blessed
Love; A thing I wouldn't touch
If it hadn't been for you
Nor would I have any hope
Of any future that isn't dark or cold
Riddiculously enough,

I childishly believe

somewhere in my heart

that maybe

it is with you,

I can grow old.
