The first time I saw your face

I knew you had a place

It wasn’t your ace or voice

It was your music choice

Blue is my favorite color

But your eyes were like no other

You know how to angle your face

Yet you look so out of place

You can’t hide that feeling

That he wants you to keep healing

It was your spirit that won my heart

I had to heal to learn my part

Your body isn’t my desire

Or the way you hide in attire

I can talk on the phone

To make you feel less alone

I’ve dissociated too

To help me get through

This is a test and

God only chooses his best

I hope you’re not fighting

To scare off the lighting

It’s your time for passion

And your spirit to seek ration

I miss the time we had together

And I’ll fix myself so it’ll last forever

It was your spirit that won my heart

I had to heal to learn my part

Your body isn’t my desire

Or the way you hide in attire

I can talk on the phone

To make you feel less alone

In this lifetime we are only matter

Yet sometimes I’m called the mad hatter

It’s not a trick you have seen

Follow my heart and I’ll be your Queen

We are the chosen ones

But we can’t thrive

If your heart isn't alive
