A recap of last night's Toronto/Buffalo game.

Rookie goalie, Joseph Woll won his first ever National Hockey League game last night as the Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the Buffalo Sabres in a see saw battle 5-4.

It was also Woll's first NHL game.

Woll stopped 23 shots last night.

Tied 4-4, Morgan Rielly scored with 11.4 seconds to go in the third period to win the game for Toronto.

It was Rielly's first goal of the season.

"Two big point's for us," said Leaf's head coach, Sheldon Keefe at the postgame press conference.

David Kempf, John Tavares, Ondrej Kasa, and Michael Bunting also scored for Toronto.

Sabre's Jeff Skinner scored two goals and had an assist.

Jeff Skinner had a three point night.

Tage Thompson and Rasmus Dahlin also scored for Buffalo.

Tavares and Rielly had two points.

Toronto's Alex Kerfoot had two assists.

"Alex Kerfoot was terrific," said Keefe.

Buffalo's Kyle Okposo had two assists.

Sabre's goalie, Aaron Dell stopped 21 shots last night.

Toronto hosts the Nashville Predators on Tuesday.
