It takes a lot of reflection

To see light as a victim

But if you look at the clues

You see why they are misused

Get with the times

Stop rehearsing some lines

We stand so divided

As if two households

Have somehow collided

Together is better

Unless it’s shared pain

That is why

We fall for those vain

Insanity is normalized

Since money is prioritized

Can you hear them suffering

Your own ego is dampening

Get with the times

Stop rehearsing some lines

We stand so divided

As if two households

Have somehow collided

If we work together

We can make things better

It’s not lack of diversity

It’s not understanding you and me

You shouldn’t fear the odd

It makes you look fraud

Some need prayer to cope

While others need a line of coke

Choose what you want

We all have free will

But your spirit will haunt

What is left after you kill?

Get with the times

Stop rehearsing some lines

We stand so divided

As if two households

Have somehow collided

You don’t need be friends

Just see both ends

Love the world as a whole

And be your own individual
