Sometimes there’s this feeling

It’s not always a good thing

Your pain becomes a part of me

Logic somehow comes with a fee

I need feeling

To keep me from falling

Intuitively you think of me

And my velvet skin

You take a bite

And learn I’m a deadly sin

Like a dart frog

I seem rather odd

You can see I’m pretty

But insides are witty

I could feel something bad

I didn’t know what karma had

If only I could trust

It wasn’t just lust

But like a water stick

I know what path to pick

I need feeling

To keep me from falling

Intuitively you think of me

And my velvet skin

You take a bite

And learn I’m a deadly sin

One in a million

Like we both are

l want to fly you in

On a shooting star

I’ll make a wish

And I’ll work for it

Forgiveness is the dish

And I’m best serving it

It’s not our fault

We don’t understand

We were dealt

An unusual hand

I need feeling

To keep me from falling

Intuitively you think of me

And my velvet skin

You take a bite

And think I’m a deadly sin

I asked for a number

So I could rate the pain

I’m sorry I hurt you

We didn’t see the same

I couldn’t live

With the fact that I hurt you

So I went on a quest

To learn what we are going through

And what I have learned

Our scars we have earned

We were chosen

Because our hearts can’t be broken

I can feel

I know you can too

If only I knew

How to text you
