Status: In Progress  |  Genre: Romance  |  House: Booksie Classic

a poem about loving in depression, hug your mental health and hold those who are struggling even tighter

The next time you stare at yourself, breathe

Your scars may be covered in velvet red and aching tendons

But I hope you remember how your muscles fight for you on days you fail to wake up

Your face may reject the mirror, but it will rejoice in the presence of cold water marrying your beautiful face

You will see marks of your make up, a tad bit of mascara that may turn blue

But the next time you see yourself

I hope you know that you have beautiful eyelashes

Blink twice, you are okay
