After much grieving

She sat down one evening

With her parents who say

A parrot may save your day

One helped you before

So take a chance behind the door

Still sore from Aries

She ate poison berries

They brought her Apollo

Like a hard pill to swallow

He was so scared

Of the way she prepared

She felt so bad

She was all he had

No matter how much

Love and affection

She couldn’t win

Apollo’s affection

She picked the third option

And he sat watching

She gave him a friend

Who loved him till her end

After much grieving

She sat down one evening

With her parents who say

A parrot may save your day

One helped you before

Just a pet and nothing more

Apollo expected

A horse with some men

But she swapped the phoney

With a light called Sunny

But when she died

He started to cry

She questioned her pride

Which caused her to question why

Only until later she learned

It’s respect that she had earned

She tamed war with love before

He knew her heart was still too sore
