Walking through life

With a target on her back

They want her as a wife

She doesn’t understand that

They love her long limbs

And velvety skin

Her flesh is a fetish

The symbol of embellish

They try to claim her

As their own

She’s not sure

If she’s truly alone

Friend or foe

Will she ever know?

She’s believes too

There’s someone out there

Who doesn’t just care

About her long hair

She writes in a journal

About the golden boy

A love that’s eternal

That makes her feel joy

But as of right now

They convinced her she’s a cow

They try to claim her

As their own

She’s not sure

If she’s truly alone

Friend or foe

Will she ever know?

She seeks guidance

From a great alliance

She’s pretty sure

They have met before

She continues to endure

Pains she was born with

She avoids the thoughts that lure

Her with a golden scythe

They choose to ignore

The fact she is different

She cries on the floor

And they tell her shut it

They call her pretty

But she doesn’t feel it

They try to claim her

As their own

She’s not sure

If she’s truly alone

Friend or foe

Will she ever know?
