I am sitting by the window, on this cold winter morning

I am dreaming of spring, with my head on your lap.

The ticking of the clock, tests my patient, as if mocking my misery.

As I wait, I am starting to forget your face, yet I fondly remember your amazing soul

Why do we have to suffer? Why do we wait?

All just for a dream?

New mornings bring me hope of new opportunity, nights remind of the harsh reality.

Never easy coming home to an empty apartment. With no words spoken, yet so much

I want to say.

I promise to be a better man someday

I will start today

I will keep waiting…

But as life continues to move forward, the joyous future is now a memory behind

A bitter sense of disappointed perhaps.

What should the fools who dare to love do, when they cannot receive back the love

Should they wait?

If so, how long?

When will the winter end? When will the spring come?

Maybe tomorrow?

Simple and nice, questioning reality is something we all do and you do it beautifully here. Well done!
