I wished I lived in your world
under your sky
where it rarely rains
and unicorns dance on
sunlit clouds
For under my sky
it is always dismal
and torrental storms
my every day reality
So when you see me
give you a blank stare
when you try to impart
your cheery sunhine
on my darkness
I hope you learn perspective
that your sky is not my own
