Life in a hole the outside distorted

then a giant tore off the roof.

Shrinking and sinking in fear contorted

then shuffled and whistled aloof.

The giant closed in; so, he swung in vain

but the beast laughed in his face.

Reaching and grasping, his hands caught a chain

so, he swung it with might and grace.

The giant's lip quivered and his eyes teared

a hero stood primed and ready.

From that day on all the giants they feared

the world become calm and steady.
