The past is never a bygone

It is winged and flies back to you

Every time you close your eyes

It reminisces all that you wanted to hide

The past- is never long-gone

It has fine legs and kicks in again

When you want to disremember everything

that you remembered!

The past- is heartless

Isn’t it so?

It loves you when you shed tears

While you un-curtain its painful beauty

The past- who says is passed?

It puffs the lungs with heavy air

When you try to shake it off

It puts you behind to muse and wallow in

Till it drives you back to its rattled din

The past- is clattered

It jingles the bells that are to be mute

It cuts your ears into pieces

When you have a seat in solitude
