new snow will fall

Winter is coming

new snow will fall

I saw a few geese flying south

the days will turn colder soon

the warm days will be remembered

as the new flakes start to fall

but there are new beauties to behold

as ice patterns form on the window glass

I remember when we walked in the snow

years ago, arm in arm to the little grocery store

where we bought snacks to eat by the fire

the embers have died

the snow has stopped

we will remember this night

when the coyotes bark at the full moon

beckoning us to rest

Clever PEN.

This poem reads like micro fiction - but I did enjoy it!
