water for the soul

 

 

when you drank at the spring

this morning

 

was it sweet, bitter

or salty

 

can one really describe the taste of water

or do we have to imagine a flavor?

 

do we remember the taste of our

mother’s milk?

did it have a flavor, or do we even remember?
