Untouched by the modern man
Are wondrous swaths of God's own land
Where there roam the the menagerie
From bird and snake to lions free
We sometimes glimpse these lands
As we interrupt our daily plans
And venture off to see the sights
Not interfered by concrete blights
In that place of quiet calm
We smell the blossoms amidst warm balm
The sun makes its daily arc
Across the pristine untouched park
As we live the days progress
Without the normal corporate stress
I think it behooves us to take a break
And see the world without mistake
Where natures beauty is in full view
Giving hope to me and you

Excellent poem. The older I get, the more I crave being out in nature. It's practically become my identity. I hope to hike the Appalachian Trial within the next five years. Great job on this poem!
