5 billion years too early the Sun
They say is evaporating oceans
Beneath the APEC ersatz blue, I run
Nitrogen air,
Venus stalled in motion.
The swollen star,
Blood-red as it dies
When the thermonuclear fuel is gone
(Mercury, moons and the Earth vaporise)
Dust, gas
A dead black dwarf
Where once it shone.
Violet, sunsets, memories, illusions
- Now they keep control with a lethal force.
Neptune could be a new home for humans
With some terraforming, of course.
Luminous planetary nebulae drift
Disperse and fade to another night shift.
