Looking For Clues
The tavern was bustling
and noise filled the air,
the cat looked around
to see who was there.
He approached the bar
and purchased a drink
for he needed a moment
in which he could think.
That group by the window?
That pair by the fire?
Whose was the company
for him to aspire?
His decision was made
so he picked up his glass
but somebody blocked him,
would not let him pass.
In league with the thief?
The cat could not tell
but just to be safe
he released his one spell.
