You once wrote to me before, letters of encouragement you blew me at a young age. I still have your stained kisses all over the page. As if you knew then you'll need to hear such sweet things again.

If only you understood what I now know. Makes sense though for us to have gone through those things to learn from them now. How I thank you for the choices you made, even if they felt like a mistake. For the things I've learned from such experiences definitely was more than we expected.

Thank you, for standing strong even when you felt weak. Thank you for continuing to persevere. Grow into the being you wish to be. May you come back to your words again and remember how far you've come.

The trials will forever be a part of the journey, be mindful of how you respond. Take not of the tips given to you about yourself, because viewing yourself from the eyes of others will continue to help you build character.

I love the idea of this piece. A letter written in a good time to ones future self to be read in a time that isn't so good. It's almost like a time capsule to remind a person that it was good at one point and can be good again. I may have missed the mark with that analysis.
