As the nights become colder we stay in.
This sounds all to familiar. People get side tracked and distracted all too easily when faced with accomplishing something creative. Nerves perhaps lead to the distraction or fear. Thoughtful poem and an interesting read.

Should you decide to read the story, I would encourage you to read the entire novella. I'm looking for feedback on the entire story, not just the first chapter. The story is twelve chapters long, running a length of about seventeen thousand words, but when compared to the length of most novellas, it is very short; however, as is the case with all reading requests, you are under no obligation to read anything.
