Yeah, I too can relate to that hated feeling, Writer's Block. I just clawed my way out of a year's worth of it. Your poem is actually surprisingly catchy despite it being written in the midst of writer's block. Also, I have to say, nice slant rhyme with "tears" and "ideas". I didn't notice it until I said it out loud.

The opening made think that this would be some angsty teen drama, but boy was I wrong! This first chapter really has it all: beautiful descriptions and believable dialogue.
