*smiles* just a something ;-)

I set atop a precipice not saying a word..

just watching...

all things flew..

sometimes violently.

Moments contradicted themselves.

In that time-frame,

becoming apart of the storm,

was the chosen method of....,

it was the easy way out.

of what?

life I guess;

the way it was...

Under camouflage a moth stays hidden.

Once the gaze turns inward,

the moth awakens..

reflecting the glimmers that call it to the surface.

And cries that never knew they were suppose to be,

are feathered away........

I always seem to mix up a few of the words when recording. ah-well ;-)

this is mostly a take on me watching me at a distructive point in time. even though I had lost myself, I feel I was actually outside myself during that time as well.
And then there is the awakening

Is this the beginning of a memoir? Wonderfully done, Katie... inspiring! One of these days I shall post and share my innermost feelings once again, because of talented writer friends such as you!! So glad I stopped by to read your latest.

Hugs and smiles make for happy days.....Jerry (*_*)

Cathy Chui

Wow...I haven't been here a while. This is so lovely, and brings me back to what I've been missing for so long. :] I love the image that this conveys, the peace that one isn't lonely in the world even if one is alone.

'The inward gaze...' the world forgets and becomes bereft...lost in civilization, progress, and outer shellS containing inner tragedies. Thanks K.

the 'world' in general are too busy, and like it that way.
when they do experience glimpses which are usually for most only moments suspended in time, they ignore and quickly return to thier 'normal' or habitual way
thanks sonny, hope al is well

oooooooohhhhhhh Katie! This demonstrates in words just the place I have been. Introspection, obtacles, hiding, challenges and changes..... in short responses to HUGE grieving state.

And all the time I neveer realised as I was running in the opposite direction.

wonderful words, wonderful

huge blessings and reiki love and rainbows

^_^ thankyou my Vee ^_^
I think in times like these, it may be easier to set out of picture so it doesn't swallow you ?
well, I didn't have the resources or growth then as now.
the growth had to come through loss.

Just beautiful. I really love the resolution in the last line, "And cries that never knew they were suppose to be, are feathered away........"

Mon, August 17th, 2009 9:25pm

Ahh thanks, and in the audio I forgot the two words 'knew' and 'they'
makes a difference, but who knows if I'll ever fix it ;-)

This is so deep and very well done indeed. It takes a long time to be able to describe inner thoughts so clearly. In your case, You've really done that. Good job. On a side note, I have one called Red Wing Epilogue I've just posted, and it has "O" in it. HA HA. You might like it. Good job Air.

Thankyou 'So' much. I really appreciate that other writers are able to comprehend inner meanings.
Yep, did read, and I have yet to stop back over too.
I won't forget.
