I woke up early today. I scrambled to my feet and I got dressed, and did my hair. I greeted my mom leaving for work.

“Bye Mariana. I’ll see you later okay?” My mom said.

“Bye mom.” I said back.

I ate breakfast and brushed my teeth, grabbing my books and purse I scurried out the door; slamming it behind me. I met up with Felicity again this morning.

She giggled. “Why are you in such a rush?”

“I need to meet up with Nathan. Do you know where he is?” I asked out of breath.

“Yeah, he’s five houses down the street, the big white one.” Felicity explained.

“Thank you so much Felicity.” I said.

I ran from her, I felt like I was flying I was running so fast. I saw Nathan walking down the sidewalk. I immediately threw my books and purse on the grass, and ran to him. I ran straight into his arms.

“Nathan, I do love you. I love you more than you could imagine.” I said breathlessly.

Nathan just stood there, nothing moving at all.

I cried. “Please Nathan. Please believe me.”

He lifted my head up carefully and kissed my watery tears.

“Mariana, why did you deny your love to me?” Nathan asked.

“I was afraid to tell you.” I admitted.

Nathan nodded and he kissed my bottom lip and I kissed his top. Our lips were touching each others now, feeling each others tongue exploring each other’s mouth. I cupped my hands on his cheeks and I felt his hands on my hips.

Nathan pulled away and laughed. “So it looks like you really do love me.”

I chuckled. “Of course silly.”

Nathan kissed my lips again.

“Mariana, will you be my girlfriend?” Nathan asked sweetly.

I almost cried, again. “Yes, I will.” I answered.

Nathan hugged me making no comment to my answer and smirking lightly. He weaved his fingers through mine and gave me a peck on the cheek. It was breathtaking, each time he kissed me I wanted more and more. They were so purifying, so divine, so addicting.  It just hit me that I had it all, I was with the man I wanted to be with since day one, I had his breathtaking kisses, and warm caring hugs. We walked down the sidewalk, going towards my books.

Nathan chuckled. “Dear, would those books and purse be yours?” He asked.

I snapped out of my little daydream.

“Yes, they are my books.” I answered.

Nathan let go of my hand and swiftly walked towards them and put my books in his backpack and handed me my purse.

I chuckled. “Nathan you didn’t need to do that you know.”

Nathan laughed. “Remember what I said before? I’m a nice person love.”

“Yeah, I remember now.” I told him.

“Good, I hope you always remember that.” Nathan told me.

He kissed my forehead and then we began walking hand in hand again.

Felicity stared at Nathan and me. I smiled and waved at her, she smiled and waved back.

“Who are you waving to Mariana?” Nathan asked my while smoothing out my hand, running his fingers lightly on my palm.

I giggled. “That’s my best friend Felicity.”

Nathan laughed. “Well shall we meet her on the other side love?”

“Yes of course!” I said excitedly filled with joy.

I realized I sounded too excited.

Nathan laughed again. “Dear, what am I going to do with you?”

Kiss my lips and tell me I am going to be alright.

“I’m not sure. What are you going to do to me?” I asked laughing.

Nathan chuckled and we crossed the street.

I never wanted to say what was on my mind. All I knew is that I am deeply in love with him, and I won’t risk getting anything in the way of that either.

“Well Mariana you never introduced me to your friend here.” Felicity said giggling quietly and softly.

“Felicity, Nathan. Nathan, Felicity.” I told them.

Nathan held out his hand and smiled. “Nice too meet you Felicity.”

“Nice too meet you too Nathan.” Felicity said smiling warmly.

All three of us walked side by side. But I caught Felicity attempting to hold Nathan’s hand, not once but twice. And I’m starting to get tired of it. We arrive at the front court of the school; Nathan picked a tree to sit under, taking me with him. Felicity followed right behind us.

“Do you guy mind if I go inside?” Felicity asked innocently.

“I don’t mind.” Nathan said sweetly

“I don’t mind either Felicity. I’ll call you later, okay?” I told her, relived that she was leaving.

“Okay. Well I’ll see you both afterschool.” Felicity said as she was walking to the front door.

Finally! I thought she was never going to leave. It ticked me off that she suddenly thought Nathan was hers. Suddenly I cringed at that thought. Just the thought of her having him made me determined that I wasn’t going to let anything happen to our relationship.

“Love what’s wrong?” Nathan asked curiously and concerned.

I looked into his deep blue eyes, they made me feel so warm and enlightened. I began examining his facial features, how soft his skin looks, and how kissable his lips are.

“Hel-lo. Earth to Mariana.” Nathan said nudging me.

I woke from my daydream.

“Oh sorry,” I apologized sounding innocent. “I was just thinking on how amazing-“

Suddenly the bell rang. Nathan stood up and then helped me get to my feet as well.

“What’s so amazing?” Nathan asked, getting closer to me.

“Oh. Uh. Nothing.” I managed to tell him.

Nathan looked at me closely and laughed. “Alright you don’t have to tell me.”

I looked at him suspiciously. He lifted his eyebrow and wrapped his arms around my waist. The bell rang once more as we shot up our heads and ran quickly inside.

Nathan ran me to my math class.

“I’ll see you later okay Mariana? Don’t fall asleep this time.” Nathan said sweetly.

“Okay. No promises Nathan.” I said calmly.

“I love you Mariana.” Nathan whispered.

Nathan kissed my lips softly and then disappeared. I couldn’t believe what I saw; my own boyfriend just disappeared in a speed of light. How is that possible? Is Nathan hiding something from me? I shook my head and walked into my Math class.
