Fellas, a word of warning: Air-malls are hazardous places to meet ladies. Especially if they malfunction at the precise moment when she’s about to arrest you for some forgotten crime.

The ship creaked and buckled like a wounded beast.

Still handcuffed to each other’s wrists, we shot across the deck and over the railings. Somehow, I managed to grab a levi’s handlebar and caused the machine to belch a loud burst of fire.

“Hold on, darling.”

In spite of her protests, I held her by the waist and tilted forward, diving in a wide parabolic arc towards the ground.
