When the shuttle’s doors slid open, a raspy voice purred, “Discover your inner Eve and lead them to temptation.”

A misty cocoon of apples and strawberries enveloped me. Amber lights cast shadows on two statues of Adam and Eve, who frolicked under a fruit-bearing tree. Coiled about a branch, a lively snake regarded the pair with cool and wicked eyes. The sign under the Tree read,

Welcome to the Garden: The most sinful shopping center this side of Paradise.

They took their metaphors a bit too far sometimes. Nonetheless, I smiled as I entered the biosphere.
