It was a cold misty night in the smelly town ofGreenlockas David Jettengerhad left the police academy. He has spent a long day training with his partner today. As he is driving home, he stops by the gas station to fill his car up.

As his car is filling up, he hears a strange noise coming from the forest nearby. The forest is filled up with many dangerous wolves and coyotes.

"Who's there" he calls out. There's no answer. David just forgets about it and goes into the gas station to get a drink.

As he comes back out, he hears the rustling noise again. This time the noise is louder. David starts to get worried. He runs to his car door to get in. But his car door is locked and he can't open it up. He searches frantically for his keys as the rustling gets louder and louder.

Then he remembers, he left them in the car. David is now petrified with fearand is unarmed. At instinct, he runs towards his house as fast as he can. As he looks back, he can see a little dot in the distance and he knows what the strange noise was right away.

It was a pack of wild foxes.

David starts to run faster and faster as hard as he can but the foxes are faster. As David starts to reach his house, The foxes are no farther than 10 feet away from him.

He kicks into top gear and runs as fast as he ever has in his life. He speeds ahead top speed for his house, hoping to get to the house before the foxes get to him.

As David reaches the front yard of his house, the foxes are getting closer and closer by the second. David jumps on his porch, runs into the house, and locks the door shut.

He calms down a bit and rests his head from all the scary thoughts. He decides tocall overhis girlfriend Sally Freemen to tell her what happened.

A short while later, Sally arrives at the door. "Hello Sally" says David as he looks out the door to make sure nothing else is out there. "Hello David" says Sally in ahappy voice. "Come inside, quick." says David. He shuts the door and locks it as tight as he can then turns to Sally. "I need totell yousomething very strange about what happened to metonight."

Hewalks over to the couch withSally who has a very puzzled look on her face."Just tonight, aboutan hour or two ago, I was at the gas station whenIheard some strange rustling in the woods." says David whileSally just has a blank look on her face. "Anyway, at first I thought it was nothing, but after awhile, the noise was there although this time it was louder. It kept getting louder and louder and i was locked out of the car so I ran over herebut the noise was chasing me and thenIrealized they were foxes."

WhenDavid said the word "foxes," Sally had a scared look on her face.

Then I ran as fast as I ever have in my life, locked myself in the house, and called you."

Sally just sat there on the couch to shocked to say anything. "Why were the foxes chasing you?" asks Sally in a petrified voice. "I don't know" says David.

He gets up and walks over to the closet. "But what I want to know is why...

David stopped dead in his tracks as he is looking right in his closet at a dead, creepy, skeleton.
