As the wind blew, causing the trees to sway and the animals to flee, Masaaki (name meaning true brightness) ran and jumped the forest hurdles on his way back to his peaceful village. The village of undying peace is the name which many had known it by. Unfortunately today it wasn't as peaceful as it had always been. War had risen upon his village and Masaaki wanted to get back as fast as his legs could take him more than anything.

When Masaaki finally reached his village border, in the distance, although the war was finally over, the outcome was not. Destruction was all that had caught his eye. Fires blazing, villagers screaming, buildings collapsing. It was complete and utter hell in his mind. Masaaki zig zagged through his village streets horrified at the damage that surrounded him. Quickly he rushed towards the highest tower where Lord Rinji (name meaning peaceful forest) was located. Lord Rinji was also Masaaki's own father. As Masaaki got closer to his fathers tower he could see many other ninja guarding the large steel front doors. There was a whisper here and a whisper there. Although he couldn't make out exactly what was being said, he had a horrible feeling that something was wrong. This made his brow sweat and his palms very clammy. As his heart raced like nothing before he was able to pass through the main doors and raced up the stairs to the highest room. To his astonishment his father was sat down in a grand chair behind a very large wooden desk filled with paperwork on either side. His Father was unharmed but he could see his heart was shattered.

Lord Rinji, as the protector of the village of peace was fuming, his heart was in pieces to have witnessed such damage and harm towards his village and some of his people. Many of his top ninja's was out looking for the enemy as well as protecting the village from the outside whilst other ninja's were patrolling the village trying to help straighten things out, calm down the villagers and protect the village from the inside. The village was on high security, and would remain that way until either the enemy was caught or things had been believed to of calmed down once again. Many weeks had passed since the horrific incident of the unforgivable war took place. Many of the villagers were still shaken but still carried on with their lives as normal. The sun shone down on the village every morning brightening up the streets and buildings. Builders and other workers worked hard everyday putting in all their effort to straighten things out once more making their village look as homely and beautiful as before. Children played sports nearby their homes whether on streets or play fields. Many of the girls used chalk to create artistic drawings on the roads and pathways, singing and skipping around as most young girls do nowadays. Everyone carried on their days as always keeping faith and hope within their village, the Lord Rinji and themselves.

Lord Rinji however as the protector of the village carried on his life, busy as always. Piles and piles of paperwork had to be looked through or sorted out as soon as possible and carefully. Overlooking any detail was something to avoid. Ninja's throughout the village carried on their work. Also helping to protect the village and its people, carrying out their missions and helping the young to also become elite ninja's just like themselves. Lots of training had to be done for one to accomplish their goals and dreams. However Masaaki had taken the destruction of the village to heart more than anyone. Never in his whole life did he think anyone would war upon his village. A village of peace and love towards all. What was it these people wanted to have fought so much to try and destroy it? Many questions had flown around Masaaki's head but no answers came to mind.

Masaaki, for hours sat cross legged on top of the highest mountain which over towered the village. The people looked so small from afar, like tiny ants scurrying left, right, to and fro. The village slowly became peaceful and quiet as the streets began to empty, people making their way home as the night of day began to dawn upon the village. \"Masaaki, I have been sent by your father to summon you to him\" said one of Lord Rinji's ninja's kneeling down close by behind Masaaki. \"Yes, I will make my way to him now\" replied Masaaki getting up from his sitting position and turning round to face the kneeling ninja. The ninja nodded his head and then disappeared back into the village towards Lord Rinji's tower, followed by Masaaki not long after. \"Father, you called for me\" Masaaki said entering his Father's room. \" Masaaki, yes, please sit down we need to talk\". Masaaki sat down on the chair closest to his father's desk waiting for his father to speak. His father stood up and walked over towards the huge window behind his chair and gazed over into the distance. His head then lowered. \"Father what is it?\" Masaaki asked sensing that something was troubling him. \"Masaaki I understand you have been taking time from your training, away from your friends and away from myself. I have been made aware that what happened in our village several weeks back has caused this huge disturbance in your everyday life. As one of my top ninja's and as my son you have to realise that such things cannot get in your way or lead you astray\" explained his father. \"Masaaki stood up slowly and made his way back to the closed door opposite his Father's desk. As he held out his hand to reach for the door handle, he slowly turned, looked at his father and said quietly but loud enough for his father to hear \"I understand\".
